Sue Harvey

Founder & Principal

Sue empowers leaders and teams to find their purpose, harness their strength, and practice their agility. Working at the intersection of leadership coaching, team effectiveness, and change management, she is known for keen insights, memorable imagery, and a system-level perspective that prompts action and drives change.

Sue serves emerging leaders and C-suite executives across a range of industries including life sciences, technology, health care, and professional services. She is a highly-rated faculty member for leadership development programs at a leading global professional services firm, and is also the founder and lead coach for “Creating What’s Next,” a peer-coaching program for women in career transition. She is a frequent speaker on topics like Leading Change, Owning Your Career, and The Coaching Perspective, and she coaches executive teams to greater effectiveness through better communication, decision-making, and accountability. 

Before launching RiverWise Leadership (formerly New Direction Strategy), Sue was involved in organizational change from every angle – as a leader, as a team member, and as a C-suite advisor. Previous positions include Chief of Staff to the CEO of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Deputy Communications Director for the top Democrat in the U.S. House of Representatives, and executive-on-loan to the Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy.

A Williams College graduate, Sue holds certificates in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University’s Institute for Transformational Leadership, Team Coaching from Corentus, and Change Management from Prosci. She is also trained in the Power+Systems Organization Workshop, and DiSC.  She completed the Center for Creative Leadership's Leadership Development Program and UMass Boston's Emerging Leaders Program.

A recipient of the Wonder Woman Award from the Massachusetts Women's Political Caucus, Sue serves on the Board of Directors for Families First and the Leadership Council of Hope Central Church in Jamaica Plain, MA. Sue lives outside Boston with her husband, two children, and a rotating menagerie of pets.

Dafna Hayman

Dafna is an executive coach and team facilitator who specializes in development of authentic leadership, behavioral and organizational change, and building productive team dynamics. Dafna began her career in the Israeli Air Force as a Commander of Radar Control. Upon completion of her military service, she entered the legal profession specializing in Intellectual Property. Following her passion for health and fitness, Dafna transitioned to the field as a general manager and later a consultant and project manager spearheading a nationwide initiative for an international wellness organization. Eventually, she launched her own health and fitness company, specializing in helping clients build mental and physical strength, and effecting behavioral change.

Dafna obtained her Law degree and Israeli Bar Association certification in Israel, and holds an MBA from the Olin School of Business at Babson College where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dafna is a Babson Executive Education Center Certified Business Coach, and is a member of the International Coaching Federation.

Novelette A. DeMercado

Novelette co-creates inclusive, well-being engagement strategies to help clients achieve their desired results. 

With a robust coaching portfolio that includes psychological safety, professional diversity, equity and inclusion, and well-being, she has coached more than 1,000 individuals, which uniquely positions her to understand the individual–interpersonal–organizational change management strategies for promoting positive social relationships guiding culture change.

Novelette holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Non-Profit Management from Pace University, a Master of Science degree in Professional Communications from Clark University, and a Master of Science degree in Exercise and Sports Science/Health Promotion from Springfield College. She is an ICF-Certified Professional Coach, CDI-Certified Professional Diversity Coach, and a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach. She has completed the Bentley University Inclusive Leadership program, as well as extensive professional development programs focused on inclusive leadership.

When not engaging with clients, she finds joy in writing poetry, reading, watching the swans on her walks, and connecting with family and friends. She aspires to write a children’s book and return to her birth country to complete an ancestral study.

Stephen Frenkel

Stephen Frenkel is an Executive and Leadership Team consultant with over 20 years of experience in leadership development, organizational optimization, and change management. He takes a “systems thinking” approach to his work, generating holistic solutions, in partnership with his clients, to drive strategy and overcome complex challenges.

In 2022, Stephen launched Voyager Executive Consulting, LLC, a boutique consulting firm focused on helping leaders drive the performance and changes they desire, while improving the human experience in the workplace.  Prior to launching Voyager, Stephen led the Organizational Development team supporting Evernorth Health Services, a subsidiary of Cigna, where he was responsible for overseeing a team supporting large scale strategic initiatives to improve business/team performance.  Additionally, Stephen led the change management discipline for Cigna, driving the development of change management approaches and competencies for Cigna's leaders and teams.  Example projects at Cigna included: leading the change management and cultural integration efforts for the Cigna/Express Scripts $54B/74,000 employee merger; launching Grounded and Conscious – a change leadership methodology as a central component to Cigna’s leadership model; designing and executing organizational design revisions for senior leaders; and driving a decentralized model for U.S. Commercial Sales.

Prior to joining Cigna, Stephen had been both an internal and external consultant, working globally in healthcare, property casualty insurance, utilities, technology, and finance.  Stephen is a member of the Beta class of Certified Change Management Professionals (CCMP), an ICF credentialed Executive Coach, and holds a MA in Dispute Resolution from UMass Boston, a BA in Psychology from University of Michigan, and a Certificate Degree in Organizational Development from DePaul University. He was named one of Hartford’s 40 Under 40 by the Hartford Business Journal in 2015 and has been published in Harvard Negotiation Law Review, Chief Learning Officer Magazine, BuyerZone, and Publishing Executive. 

Outside of work, Stephen enjoys spending time with his family, giving back in his community, running, skiing, hiking/camping, motorcycle riding, gardening, travel, and reading.

Angie Fuessel

Angie Fuessel, EdD brings over 20 years’ experience working to foster effectiveness and transformation amongst individuals, organizations, and systems. Angie has a deep passion for developing theories and strategies of systemic social change and cultivating collaboration across entities and sectors for innovation and social impact.

Through leadership roles at Ashoka U’s Changemaker Campuses program, the General Secretariat of the Executive Council for Abu Dhabi, and Booz Allen, Angie has built significant expertise in social innovation and organizational strategy, development, and change/communications. She has a proven track record in developing strategies, innovating thought leadership, launching functions and communities, building and managing teams, and cultivating relationships and capacity to lead change.

Her broad portfolio of experience across the sectors, in the US and abroad, reflect her high threshold for ambiguity and deep ability to tailor approaches to multi-cultural contexts. Additional strengths include public speaking, facilitation, and designing learning experiences and communities.

As a scholar-practitioner, she brings a strong command of both business and education theory and research. Angie holds an EdD from the George Washington University and an MBA from Oxford, as well as Certificates in Human Resource Practices from Cornell University and Organizational Change and Development from Hawaii Pacific University.

Debbie Kee

Debbie is a Change Management Advanced Practitioner (CMAP) and Project Management Professional (PMP) certified professional with  25 years of experience in corporate and government settings.  

Debbie’s management consulting experience includes strategic planning, strategic communications, change management, and program management with a specialty in IT implementations and organizational change. Debbie developed the multi-year Change Management Strategy for a Fortune 100 firm’s financial modernization program. Debbie has worked for both large and small management consulting companies including Booz Allen Hamilton, Suntiva, and American Management Systems (AMS).

She holds an MA in International Affairs from George Washington University and Certifications in Change Management from Georgetown University and Prosci, as well as being a RIVA Trained Moderator and a PMI certified Project Management Professional. 

Debbie is a world traveler who at the age of 25 made a promise to see one new place a year and even in light of COVID restrictions, she has kept that promise albeit more locally. While not traveling, Debbie enjoys spending time with her family and friends by hosting parties on her large deck and around the fire pit. Debbie lives in Arlington, VA.

Janeen Latini

Janeen M. Latini is a Professional Certified leadership coach, a Change Management Advanced Practitioner, an organizational strategist, and a no-kidding truth-teller.  Janeen’s purpose is to create healthy work environments where leaders and teams embrace joy while they achieve. 

After a successful 20+ year management consulting career, Janeen left her executive position at Booz Allen Hamilton to focus full time on developing leaders and their teams. Janeen’s consulting experience includes strategic planning, change management, communications, organizational development, facilitation, training, and IT development and implementation. She is adept at visioning and strategy development as well as supporting program implementation to help clients accelerate change adoption and reach stated goals. 

As a founding member of the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP), Janeen worked steadily in support of the organization as a volunteer. She is a member of the International Coach Federation & Association of Change Management Professionals Joint Task Force to optimize the synergies between change management and coaching. 

A lover of coffee, hot yoga, pilates, half-marathons and world travel, Janeen and her beloved daughter reside in Arlington, VA with their rescue kitties and pups.

Shea O'Neil Adelson

Shea has dedicated her practice to the technical fields, with a focus on the sciences, technology and finance, supporting the transformation and learning of technical experts to be better leaders and change agents in their complex organizational systems.

Recognizing that change occurs multi-dimensionally, she works to build capacity within leadership and organizational stakeholders always meeting the client where they are through a co-designed, inclusive and iterative process approach. 

Shea is drawn to projects that support purpose-driven, science-based organizations and benefit from a co-creative, design thinking, iterative approach. She brings two decades of experience in research and data across industries, combined with learnings from multiple engagements in scientific organizations working to harmonize processes across functions.   

Shea integrates her training in somatic education and mindfulness practices with her passion for data and science in her work, bringing to her clients the tools and techniques from the latest research in neuroscience and the best of the wisdom traditions as it relates to sustainable leadership and team development. Always learning and refining, Shea has cultivated a holistic, interdisciplinary and customized approach to her practice to support clients creating clarity, purpose and results.

Ben Perkins

A native Los Angelino, avid social-justice practitioner, intellectual, and creative thinker, Benjamin Perkins leads Upstream Impact Solutions Consulting and facilitates racial equity programs nationally as a certified program leader with the Impactive Solutions/ Groundwater Institute. 

Benjamin has delivered social change in public health for over two decades, first specializing in HIV-prevention and then in health disparities in heart disease among communities of color and other underserved populations.  He has held roles including community advisory board chair and founding director of a CDC-funded HIV-prevention and wellness center, and served the American Heart Association as Vice President of Multicultural Initiatives & Health Equity as well as Vice President of Health Strategies for the Greater Boston Area. Most recently, Benjamin served as CEO of Wholesome Wave, a national nonprofit that seeks to address nutrition insecurity in underserved communities.

Benjamin received his Master of Divinity degree from Harvard Divinity School and is an ordained minister, serving Hope Central Congregational Church in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston. He received his Master of Arts in clinical psychology from Antioch University, and his Bachelor of Arts in geography from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Enid Y Rivera

Enid is a seasoned consultant known for her success in leading, designing and implementing organizational effectiveness initiatives, HR strategies, and reorganizations. Her experience encompasses a broad spectrum, including partnering with leaders and functional experts in various sectors and leading teams of diverse sizes, locations, and cultures.

With a career spanning over two decades in Human Resources, coupled with a background as an employment law attorney, Enid has deep experience in forging strategic partnerships with clients to drive transformative change within organizations. Her expertise lies in translating complex themes into holistic people solutions, aligning with both short and long-term business objectives. Enid is recognized for her adeptness in co-creating strategy-led solutions and fostering collaboration among leadership, cross-functional teams, and geographically diverse regions.

Enid has spent the last 20+ years working for and consulting with leaders in companies including Nike, Lam Research, law firms, and various governmental agencies.  She graduated from University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (Hastings) with a Juris Doctorate and from Tufts University with a B.A. in Social & Child Psychology.
